Omexom in Portugal has finalized the construction of the Alcochete photovoltaic plant, developed by Hyperion, whose grid connection was recently completed. This project is part of a series of photovoltaic plants contracted between the two entities in 2024, as part of a broader collaboration for the development of solar capacity in Portugal.

Omexom Portugal continues to strengthen its role as a center of excellence in photovoltaic energy within the international Omexom network. With extensive experience in engineering, procurement, and construction of solar projects, the Portuguese team has been crucial in implementing renewable solutions in various geographies.

On March 7th, the Mayor of Montemor-o-Novo, Olímpio Galvão, accompanied by local authority technicians, visited Omexom Portugal, a VINCI Energies Group brand in Portugal. The visit was part of a tour of the Adua Industrial Zone, an initiative of the Mor + Economia Program to develop, undertake and innovate.

Omexom Portugal was present at Energyear Portugal 2025, held on February 27th at Eurostars Universal Lisboa. This event is considered the leading renewable energy conference in Portugal and featured over 350 participants and 50 specialized speakers.

Omexom Portugal has signed two Full EPC contracts with Hyperion for the construction of photovoltaic plants in Estremoz and Alcochete, with capacities of 51.8 MWp and 20.4 MWp, respectively. These projects, which are already under construction, cover a total area of 128 hectares and involve the installation of over 100,000 photovoltaic modules.
