1. Building low-carbon energy sources & developing the grids
We need to renounce fossil fuels which represent 80% of primary energy sources in the world.
Today wind and solar represent only 6% of electricity generation. While this share will grow, the network needs to adapt.
- First it needs to be able to accept more connection of solar, wind and hydro powerplants.
- Second, it needs to be able to deal with very fluctuating energy flows, depending on weather conditions.
- Third it needs to be able to deal with the high variability thanks to new balancing assets
Throughout the energy value chain, we will continue to build and connect low-carbon energy sources, adapt the network to increase the share of renewable energies.
Also, we will continue maintaining the carbon-free nuclear plants with a high level of safety.

2.Promoting optimized energy use
The best energy is the one we do not use. This goes with the concept of sobriety and efficiency.
It’s important for us to design solutions that are energy sufficient and at the same time to use materials and processes which are more efficient.
More specifically that means for us:
- For each project, accompany our clients on the road to energy sufficiency and efficiency by properly dimensioning our offer to their real needs.
- Supports cities to optimize streetlighting services: from project design to the implementation of the energy performance contract, tailored to the customers’ needs
- Otimize the energy consumption of the streetlighting services by adapting process, organization and transforming the networks into a multi-service platform.

3. Implementing innovative and collaborative solutions
By integrating digital and all the improvements it brings, we need to continue to develop tools allowing us and our customer to be more efficient, and new business models that put energy at the heart of our concerns.
